In search of Vimto!

So...... while Elaine was here yesterday Will and I went off in search of Vimto.Last week we made a failed attempt to locate the Foodworks at Morningside that, by all accounts, sells it simply because when you Google 'Foodworks Morningside' the first thing that comes up is a different Foodworks in Coorparoo.....the one we went to last week.Yesterday we found the real one.

Initially we were disappointed because in the 'cordials' section there was no Vimto but we asked a young chap stacking shelves and he lead us to a different section with a big 'IRISH/ENGLISH' sign.

There we found Vimto!.......but only the canned variety. We asked another fellow close by about the cordial. He looked like a Goth....but seemed far too happy to be a Goth and had probably been kicked out of Gothdom for being too chipper. He said he would look into it if we left a message on their 'Facebook' page. We bought some 'booty' and left.

As soon as I got home I left a message on their 'Facebook' page and almost got an immediate reply......from Andre (?).......I think it was the Goth....no wonder he was kicked out......Andre is not a Goth name......anyway, Andre was going to look into finding Vimto cordial.....yay!Stay tuned!In the meantime I wondered if I should message him back and say 'change your name to 'Baal' and they might let you back in,'......but I didn't.
