The Pyramid.

Anne was surprised how well she slept last night.......and Will and I were too actually. There were no untoward noises from creatures of the night......or from Anne.I awoke this morning and realised I had only gone and forgotten my blood pressure medication again! But thankfully, after speaking to the very helpful Chris at Dr Wang's surgery, and Hamish at Soul Pattinson's Pharmacy in Stanthorpe I was able to collect my medication at about 9.30 am.We then headed off to Girraween National Park.We climbed The Pyramid......a large outcrop of bare granite rock. We had the summit to ourselves and the view was magnificent. We met hoardes of people coming up including a very chatty elderly lady who we thought would never let us get on......her husband wandered off......"he's antisocial but I like to chat" she said. "Oh,I do too!" said Anne, I think I will come back up with you.".....The elderly woman proceeded to tell us at length about the broken ribs she has had for three years.......they had certainly not stopped her talking. We did escape, eventually. Even Anne said "See, there are people who talk more than me!"We saw the Granite Arch and then came back to Frogknot. We saw two kangaroos hopping up the track in front of us, much to Anne's delight.
