So...the weather has been glorious here recently, cloudless blue skies for days, and we were lucky to get out and wander the lanes of Lanercost and follow a bit of the Hadrian's Wall path for a couple of hours...

So...yesterday we had a walk around Buttermere and a detour to Scales Force, the highest waterfall in the Lake District.

So...on a lovely day, at the weekend we got away to climb Blencathra, fourth highest mountain in England. We first climbed it together 16 years ago and I don't remember Sharp Edge being so scary. My legs are still sore from the descent.
