An Orange week.

So... this last week we have been in Orange, NSW visiting with Deranie and Phoebe, Will's daughter.

It is a 9-hour drive from Frogknot.

Deranie and Phoebe live in Canberra but have just acquired part of the family farm in Orange and we went down to meet them there and help with a few jobs that needed doing on their new block.

We had a lovely time, and the surrounding countryside is just so beautiful, but the week was not without a few dramas from burst tyres on farm buggies, credit card fraud and a wild storm that tore ancient trees apart.

The main job that needed doing was the repairing a bridge that had been damaged in last year's floods. By the time we left the job was not totally finished but at least the bridge was once more usable.
