River rising.

So... this weekend we ended up getting flooded in down at Tracy's. The water rose on Saturday but started to go down during Sunday night. Our first attempt to leave on Monday morning at 6.30 am failed but we made it out around 8.30 and I got to work in time on Monday afternoon.

So...it is Eurovision weekend and we have come down to the river. Since our arrival yesterday evening the river has risen with all the recent rain and we are now cut off. We are trusting that it will have gone down by Monday morning allowing me to get back to work on Monday afternoon.

So...last night I caught a strange bird eating the bird seed on the feeder...
