So...it is Eurovision weekend and we have come down to the river. Since our arrival yesterday evening the river has risen with all the recent rain and we are now cut off. We are trusting that it will have gone down by Monday morning allowing me to get back to work on Monday afternoon.

So...we were visited this afternoon by four Eastern Grey Kangaroos. They don't visit us much up here as they tend to graze down the hill but it was great to have them visit us.

The last of the first flock.

Pacha

So...today Pacha left us. She was the only remaining hen from the first flock we put together when we moved up to Frogknot in 2016. She has survived a quoll attack and numerous fox attacks in her time here with us. I saw her last on Thursday and found her this afternoon lying in a corner of the coop when I went to clean it out. Hopefully she died in her sleep of old age. She was the grandmother of our flock. We will miss her.
