Staying ‘Up Over’ for a while.
The last of the first flock.
So...today Pacha left us. She was the only remaining hen from the first flock we put together when we moved up to Frogknot in 2016. She has survived a quoll attack and numerous fox attacks in her time here with us. I saw her last on Thursday and found her this afternoon lying in a corner of the coop when I went to clean it out. Hopefully she died in her sleep of old age. She was the grandmother of our flock. We will miss her.

So...in reaching a significant age, for my birthday this year, my boys have chipped in together and bought me a drone! Thankfully it is a lot easier to fly than I first thought and today I tried it out for the first time...
