Tax Haven!
So...at the end of the last financial year both Will and I got quite a bit of tax back. We have been able to get a few things that we wanted rather than needed. This new home for our Silkie Chickens is one of them...
Wet Wool!
So...it is that time of year again when the trees along Palmerin Street in Warwick don their Winter coats as part of the annual Jazz and Jumpers festival. Sadly the only day I was able to go was pretty miserable weather wise but at least it kept the crowds away...
In hot water...at last!
So...if you have been keeping up with news here at Frogknot you may remember our ongoing 'winter troubles' to get hot water, while our water heating solar system is shaded due to low sun in the winter months...well, problem solved!
We have invested in an LPG hot water boiler system and now have all the hot water we need. It is so nice to not to have to rush our showers now before we run out of lukewarm water. We can luxuriate a little longer...but not too long, because even though we collect all the waste water for the fruit trees, after living through the recent drought we know how precious having water is.
