Nobbled by a nibbler!

So...Galore and Son had strawberries tonight.

We later discovered the shower lights were no longer working and found the wires had been nibbled through.We know who did it...someone who was attracted by the soap and having found it was inaccessible took their frustration out on the fairy lights!They later arrived on the deck and we rewarded their vandalism by giving them strawberries.Doh!

Cool Cinema Crawl.

So...yesterday we escaped the heat at home and headed to Brisbane for a day of cinema in Will's air conditioned car Kwiz. We set off at 6.30am. At 10.00 we saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at the Cineplex at Redbank Plains.After lunch we headed to the New Farm Cinemas to see JoJo Rabbit at 2.30 pm.After a quick trip to Bunnings we headed to the Cineplex at South Bank to see Little Women.We chose well and I loved all the films but particularly recommend Jojo Rabbit and Little Women. We set off home at 9.30 and arrived just after midnight. It was a long day but great day out.

Over 40!

So...it got to 41 degrees outside today.We hunkered down with the blinds and windows closed while the new portable air conditioner, that Santa brought, battled to keep us cool!

Gotcha!

So...while lying awake due to the heat, the other night, I heard a scratching sound somewhere outside. I shone a light outside and the noise stopped and eventually as the air cooled I got to sleep.We had left the doors open downstairs but left the screen door closed to allow air to circulate but in the morning discovered thisI then discovered what the noise I had heard in the night wasSomething had been eating our bin!Last night we set a trap. The bait?...a gingerbread man's head! Gotcha!The guilty party has been repatriated.
