So...Owen pretty much ended up a damp squib (sic) and what is left of him has headed back out into the Pacific. There was been a lot of rain in Northern Queensland but very little damage. We have had some rain too, just over 50 mls in the last few days, which was very welcome but I think that was as a result of low pressure further south and nothing to do with Owen.
Move along please!
So...this fellow got a little too close for comfort this evening, just outside the back door. I chased him up the garden and cut off his approach to Blue Moon House. He got a bit hindered by the netting around the garden but eventually found a gap and slithered off up into the bush.
