So...today was the first of two days cover teaching in one of the Prep classes in the town school. As I left this morning Will commented on my attire saying "I really like that shirt." He jinxed it.Halfway through the morning I was doing some number work on the carpet when one of the little girls nudged her friend and pointed at me saying ''Look at that hole in his shirt.''I felt under my arm and found a small hole."I'll have to sew that up," I said.At Lunch time I was on duty and at the end was supervising putting away all the play equipment in the shed.  While lifting a box of buckets and spades onto a shelf I heard a ripping sound and the whole side of my shirt had ripped open.Luckily I could hide the split by holding both edges of the rip together under my right arm, clamped to my side.I managed to avoid anyone noticing as we went back into the class for the afternoon and managed to quickly text Will to bring another one. Twenty minutes later my Knight in Sky Blue arrived with a selection of replacement shirts and I was spared further embarrassment.I think I will take a spare change of clothes tomorrow... like most of the rest of the class.
