So...the 'chooks' have been allowed to venture out of their pen more over the last week. The two mother hens have been looking after the chicks really well and amazingly we still have all 11 of them and they have doubled in size.There has been no sign of the fox for ages, nor have the hens sounded alarmed for weeks...that is until today, when Will heard Yudhisthira causing a fuss down near the dam.He went to investigate and found this...
I haven't seen a turtle in the dam for ages. I hope it stays.

So...15 minutes before the end of my shift at the 'Book Cave' today I notice that my fly is completely undone.How embarrassing!
