And in the News today...

  • We are down to six chicks having lost two in mysterious circumstances though we suspect they were snatched by a crow, butcher bird or kookaburra. We now have two grey, two white and two black chicks left but they are exploring the outdoors daily.
  • Long-Mu and Dou-Mu remain in confinement and happily wander the garden during the day returning to their box at sunset.
  • Will saw a large, black wild pig the other morning down near Foxwater.
  • Dave came today in his Bobcat and dug up some earth ready for finishing off the foundations of the bathroom tower this weekend. We have a full house this weekend with Ros, Andrew and Marina (from Melbourne) all joining us at Frogknot on Friday.
