Badger Galore

Staying ‘Up Over’ for a while.

Galore has a lie-in.

We had some rain yesterday evening.Usually Galore heads out of her daytime resting place just after sunset but last night she did not move, perhaps because of the noise of the rain on the tin roof.At about 8.30 I noticed on the radar that the rain would soon pass over us and stop and just about that time too we heard Galore on the move.
It was still raining as she headed out but stopped soon afterwards. How did she know that it was going to stop?

More power problems.

So...Will gets up at 4.30am for his postponed day of cheesemaking but when he gets into Roxy at 5.30am and turns the key...nothing! The battery is flat. Either a door was open and the light was on or he left the ignition turned on all night...either way it is not my fault. He tries the battery he got for Beige Beauty...but again nothing so he has to go in on Jaxy. The plan is to, hopefully, let our solar batteries charge up during the day and try and start Roxy with one of them later.I am very careful during the day trying not to draw too much power to charge up computers, phones and tablets to save enough to start Roxy. The morning is quite sunny but the afternoon clouds over. Catch 22...we would love some rain..but we also need power.I pull up cassinia...
Can you see the difference? I was pulling it up in the treeline, on the hillside. Will is home at 3.00, exhausted from making Granite Belt Gold, a parmesan style cheese. We try the solar batteries to start Roxy....nothing! Great disappointment for Will, some concern from me as we need to be able to get to Brisbane tomorrow. We call in the troops from next door, first Kyle on his motorbike, then Nate carrying two rugby balls, then Jarrah on his motorbike...and finally Dave and Jenny riding in on their lawnmower bringing a huge battery with them.We hook up the battery...nothing. So Dave hooks up Roxy's battery to the lawn mower battery and starts the lawn mower.....we let the lawn mower run for about five minutes before trying to start Roxy and it works!I am much relieved.

Hey Nicholas,Thank you for your response.I'm so sorry to hear what have happened. It seems that there's been a major mistake or system issue on the response that you received when you contacted us.We acknowledged that everything seems to be rough for the past 3 months, but believe it or not we've been working really hard to sort everything out. This includes launching our very own app, fixing all our issues with member's accounts and providing good customer service. I know that these are all water under the bridge now since you have already left us, but we still want to thank you for doing business with Yatango, and for providing us your honest feedback. Rest assured that we'll have your case reviewed to find out what caused this to happen, in hopes to prevent losing more members and keeping our current members happy and satisfied with their services.Once again thank you for your feedback. Please don't hesitate to contact us again for any concerns that you may have in the future.Bye for now.
Regards,

Hey Nicholas,Hope everything's going well. We sincerely apologise for the delayed response.I'm sorry to hear that it seems you're unable to login to your account. Can you confirm your date of birth on the account for verification purposes so that I can check what happened? Also, can you tell us your reason for transferring to a new provider?Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards,

 Hi Daryl,
When I first contacted Yomojo earlier today about my 'log in' problem I got the following reply:
Hello,

I'm currently on leave, returning February 22 and have limited access to email.
Please contact OJ Santiago (oscar.santiago@acquirebpo.com) in my absence.

Thanks,
Andrew

I must admit that this is not the reply I was expecting and to be brutally honest sums up the 'farce' you call Yomojo. I managed to chat to Dean on the chat help service and Dean was good. Dean should seriously think about working for another company. Dean confirmed that my account was closed which is all that I wanted to check.
Why have I moved to a new provider? Don't get me started....It is not your fault that you work for one of the most incompetent and inefficient companies ever to get a business license....that is, I am assuming you have a business license but I would not be surprised if you were denied one.
I was really happy with Yatango, their app was easy and efficient and I felt like I was getting good service...but Yomojo took over and spoiled that...and how!
Leave Daryl...escape while you can because Yomojo is a sinking ship and soon they will go under. They should be called 'Yo' because they have lost their 'mojo.' Actually I don't think they ever had it!
I doubt I am the first to take my custom elsewhere but I go back to Amaysim....in one day they have done more for me than Yomojo ever did in three long months!
I will not be recommending Yomojo to anyone, not even my worst enemies or Donald Trump, if he should ask me to recommend a service provider....and I think you can imagine how much I despise him.
Yours very sincerely,
Nick Allen.

No power!

So...Will was off at 5.00 am this morning for a full day of cheese making but was back by 8.30 am as there was no power in Thulimba. He has to go in tomorrow now.As it turned out the power came back on by 9.00 am.I spent the morning in Stanthorpe washing the bedding and towels and buying pyjamas for my hospital stay.I have changed my mobile phone provider and was getting a bit worried that the sim card had not arrived yet...but it came today and a few hours later I got an email to say that my number had been transferred too.  I tried to sign into my old account with the last provider, Yomojo, but it wouldn't let me. So I sent them an email by clicking the 'contact us' button on the website. Would you believe that I got a message back from someone called Andrew saying'Hello, I'm currently on leave, returning February 22 and have limited access to email. Please contact OJ Santiago (he gave me Oscar's email address here) in my absence. Thanks, Andrew'I replied saying 'I don't care if you are on leave, I am a customer and I cannot access my account. What are you going to do about it?'Andrew has not replied.I did eventually chat to Dean...in an online help chat thing and he confirmed my account was closed with Yomojo...Good riddance is all I can say! I do not recommend them! The weather forecast predicted thunderstorms today and we just missed one but got a bit of rain about 3.00 pm The early part of the day had been hot and uncomfortable but after the rain it was lovely and cool.We tried to move Trogdor the Burninator but the wheel that Will had fitted the tyre on would not turn. He thinks the brakes are locked or that it has rusted badly...Not even a generous spraying of 'Start ya bastard!' would get it going.Roxy dragged it about 6 feet before the rope broke and we gave it up as a bad job.
I almost forgot that I was to call the hospital today to find out what time I have to go in on Monday. I was to call between 4.00 and 7.00 and I remembered at 6.00.I am to go in at 8.00 am. I know some people will be in at 6.00 so that perhaps means I will not be having my operation until about lunchtime. What do I know!I have to fast from midnight Sunday, wash in the soap I was given the night before and in the morning before I go, just take pj's and my medication and no valuables over $50!I shall need my computer though! I shall have to think of some cunning disguise! The day has come full circle....it is 7.15 pm and we have no power. That's what a cloudy day does for you!
