How VERY Dare You!

All Change!

So........we have a new Prime Minister........again!Australia changes its leaders like football clubs change Managers......there have been 5 Prime Ministers in 5 years but only 2 elections.Tony Abbott got the job just before we arrived here in 2013.......I don't know how, but incredibly Australia voted him in. At least Will and I have the satisfaction that it was not our fault.....nor was it Dulcie's.I am very glad he is gone while somewhat uncomfortable with the manner in which he leaves. Dulcie would be glad too. She did not like him at all. He was awkward, excruciatingly embarrassing to listen to and I still find it unbelievable that he ever rose as far as he did in politics.

Oh, I almost forgot!........

......I have my new glasses! I picked them up last week.I have a pair with varifocal lenses which I have adapted too quite quickly, without any dizzy spells, but most importantly now I have some prescription sunglasses.Bring on the Summer!

Another 'Swell' day!

I cannot believe it has been a year since we were last at Currumbin for the 'Swell' Festival......but it is.We enjoyed it so much last time that we drove down today to view the sculptures by the sea again....
