Staying ‘Up Over’ for a while.
Yamba Time.
So........today we had Morning Tea with Shirley and Denis at Peaceful Drive, lunch at the Pacific Hotel in Yamba, an afternoon walk along Pippi Beach almost to Angourie Point and dinner in the evening with Tracy's parents, Lois and John. It was another lovely day.
Taken for a ride.
After a wander in town this morning we went for a bike ride this afternoon.....it nearly killed me!
Gifts from Mother Nature.
We have had a lazy day. Will did some crocheting.......Heaven knows why.......and I caught up on replying to some emails. We went out for an evening walk.....
Life goes on.
Down to the river to de-grief.
So.....we have come down to Ashby to spend some time beside the mighty Clarence to recover, remember and reflect.I cannot think of a better place for such things apart from Frogknot except that here we have Tracy's lovely company and will have Jen's too when she returns from Canberra.
Post Script.
I forgot to mention that we were asked if there was anything we wanted to place in Dulcie's coffin with her. We chose her favourite flannelette shirt and I added a tissue to its front pocket because she always had one there and I often forgot to remove it before the wash. Doh!We just regret not sending a pack of cards with her too.
