A life ‘Down Under’!
Eurovision down by the river.
So...we were down by the Clarence River this weekend for the Eurovision Song Contest. We had a lovely weekend and came back on Monday.
Brisbane weekend.
So...we were in Brisbane this last weekend. We went down on Friday and went to see 'Botanica' a series of light installations by artists in the Botanical gardens by the river on Friday evening. We were disappointed and did not enjoy the crowds, though we knew we would not be there on our own.
The main reason we were there was to celebrate Ros's birthday on Saturday night at a dinner party on her back deck which I decorated with fairy lights. The food was Italian and the evening and company was just perfect.
On Sunday we spent a lovely few hours with Andrew and his Mum, Con before heading back home again.
