Fed up and board.

So...Ros and Andrew came up for the weekend and we thought while we had the extra hands we would try and get some of the ceiling boards up. None of us had ever put any ceiling boards up before. We began on Saturday by putting up some batons across the ceiling downstairs and then set about putting up the first board, but the idiosyncrasies of Blue Moon House made working out the angles and measurements very difficult. When we finally got a piece cut we raised it up to the ceiling to find that it did not fit correctly. That was enough for one day. On the Sunday we tried a different approach and successfully managed to get three boards up.

Yet Another 'Swell' Day Out!

So...it is that time of year again when the 'Swell' Sculpture Festival is on at Currumbin on The Gold Coast. We drove the three and a half hour route down yesterday morning in Sky Blue. 

I'm a Survivor!

So...I live to tell the tale of another eight days in school. It mostly went pretty smoothly though 'Computers' today was an hour of 'Log-in Hell!'I could not go back to Full Time! I am worn out with all the fake smiling and false enthusiasm and am glad to be home being grumpy with Will.I wasn't asked to do a display this time but we did a quick one anyway...And rest.....
